“They’ll never find the body” is a boring threat. Threaten that they’ll never stop finding the body

They’ll be recovering pieces of you for at least three months. You will be alive for at least two of them.

That’s terrifying

This is the closest to a comic-accurate Gomez I’ve ever seen in a live action adaptation, too.

Gomez is supposed to be a little gremlin of a man who is madly, madly, madly in love with his cadaverous wife. Raul Julia gets credit where credit is due for an excellent performance, but Luis Guzman exudes pure Gomez energy.

Gomez and Morticia are the definition of the trope “one is thin and long, one is short and thick”
